BP Fallon had been in touch with ace guitarist Danny B Harvey, said one of the songs he’d like to sing at Jimmy Quill’s annual party at Red Horse Ranch was ‘Twenty Flight Rock’. Come the day in the wilds of Texas, Nigel Harrison was on board for bass guitar and noted country singer and songwriter Mike Stinson kindly offered to play drums – until James Intveld appeared and said “Do you want the Eddie Cochran original or the version by Robert Gordon and Link Wray?” Thus, James Intveld, drums.
Fallon, Harvey, Harrison and Intveld were joined on ‘Van And Gloria’ by the legendary Michael Des Barres on tambourine and backing vocals – with added b/vs and inimitable harmonica from celebrated actor Patrick Bergin (who, fact fans, played the menacing husband of Julia Roberts’ character in 1991’s thriller ‘Sleeping With The Enemy’, among many superb roles. Rock’n’role).
