THE EFFING BOLLIX!

SEEING SPW FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME... JOHN REPORTS

"The effing bollix! Was standing having a bit of a rap with BP and before I know it he's got me by the hand and is leading me through the crowd to Justin who is, as any rock star/primadonna-in-waiting would be, totally nonplussed by my presence. The gig was beyond fabulous, totally electric, these guys are totally out of control, and he is, well, as he said himself, "painfully attractive" in six inch heels and micromesh tights and the kids just fucking love him. But the rest of the band also stand out. The bassist is out of his effing head and way too fucking pretty for his own good, but superb, the guitarist totally mesmerizing, the drummer sexy as all hell. But HE is mesmerizing. He's probably a fuck in real life but on stage he's a total god(ess). They had me giggling like a schoolgirl and rocking like a madman and begging, nay gagging, for more.

"Life affirming in heels. Terrific!

"I'm still reeling from the gig and playing The Magnetic EP constantly on the old iPod. Magnetic Baby played at 11 is like hearing Anarchy In The UK for the first time. Fucking splendid.

"I will be in Greenpoint March 2nd. You comin'?"

-John
