JAIME ON BEING HUNG IN THE LOUVRE
I was doing an act for God last summer and was approached
by a man carrying beautiful photographs in his pocket that resembled
late-1800's images.
Little did I know that day as I dressed in my Victorian black
hat and white face that I would meet and become model to Hal
Hirshorn.
Hal is extremely inspiring with all of his old cameras, books
and equipment crammed into a tiny studio in downtown Manhattan.
I must say it is not always tea and crumpets working with Mr Hirshorn.
Usually my body is dressed with torn rags and my feet and hands
are smudged with black makeup.
Nonetheless this is some of my favorite work in which I have taken
part. The result is timeless images of the human form.

The exhibition of Hal Hirsorn's photographs of Jaime Coon was
first shown at The Lourve in Paris November 2002.
